Programs/Services

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities- \# u3 ~9 y4 L2 }! h$ c4 Q7 E
• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends
0 Z" n: ]# u: O; R: E7 o# Z8 ^• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public% B( Q( b/ I- Q' L, C2 [
• identify community needs and trends+ ~7 `$ O; a, G- f1 N
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups4 G# m! m; w z; b, l" t
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups6 O. C: e1 ^! ~ b0 `
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.. k3 C S6 d4 ~
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff' ]+ u) \1 s0 V3 a: W1 `( k

Qualifications
% i4 D" \0 a2 F5 d- University degree in a related field;
2 \- v7 _9 [' v& ~. f* t- N. [, M- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
' S3 X' Y1 H$ [2 M, u( M, q5 D% W0 I- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" G! S6 R0 _5 {' m3 Y' K) [+ w! \- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
- z! a$ J5 D/ o: W* y' L% f+ @
" C% D$ f; D. v( iSalary4 s2 _# ~8 e' \+ p1 R, \
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
