Programs/Services

5 O0 G" Z+ a+ e+ V• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends3 I1 N3 L k& y5 r, `& \- {9 |

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

External Relations
7 {" z; W; s* m' W/ o• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
* A+ w/ k' U5 W |• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
# J+ i. A0 g) S0 ?$ ^# ?# t• communicate the value of the organization to the public6 \; f1 O* _" O2 G) e1 F
• identify community needs and trends
O% M+ f6 H4 i4 o8 z4 r2 l; f• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
( x- f$ n* E5 E* H, J$ `% C• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
* O, o: f7 j" |8 W7 a# K, L4 q• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications. @* {; d y8 X% H0 B7 d5 q) o) Z
- University degree in a related field; $ n! k7 o. F3 }+ R3 f
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
( o2 z4 |- o! x* t/ M9 o4 K$ p1 F- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ' M3 I/ ?+ ^% x; h5 a, T, x8 W& U
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ) C0 u5 f- G! Z& X4 f6 ]8 n, W
0 x4 a8 |& n' W, F. l" t+ K' p# O
Salary3 o$ F. I9 A" ^/ m' R2 w
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
