• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities/ |6 [9 [1 D7 o6 j

• communicate the value of the organization to the public+ b1 Z A6 E: T- O. i W6 y) {7 }
• identify community needs and trends
0 T% f8 b3 W; z* Z! z; e5 w• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
0 V5 D% s) l( \2 z6 T% Q6 O• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
7 T. E' w1 \1 E( }$ o• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; 6 ~, x2 r+ x+ a8 r6 L* P
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;, T4 k1 Q# R$ |+ |
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
# }( v) r! e$ |( }7 }/ x% x- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 5 ]/ t' d' e. `
