• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities

• set program priorities and directions

( l+ P L4 V- x/ a* n4 V u3 N• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
3 o9 C b; E& j8 t5 ?• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
; V. X6 V2 x2 z4 w, ` K' ^• communicate the value of the organization to the public/ x5 C2 d7 ^. O
• identify community needs and trends' \; r8 _! l. R
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups. n3 X4 |- _8 _% _' @6 p+ e- {( }
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
6 Z; n5 i+ i% l' s, C• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.) p9 f, _$ V# a9 P1 k0 {
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff# T. s" S) l7 X7 }# ~1 J5 A$ Q3 Y

Qualifications. v/ p0 `! J0 M) D2 D! j
- University degree in a related field; 9 k! l r7 E5 L( r( X2 e
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
y6 k: G- F7 Z- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ( }3 _+ j7 S; q
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ^3 D) t" y6 J8 _# \
; m Y" e' t, g. e" C0 q$ p5 m) lSalary( {- t5 i+ t7 o4 |. I/ B) U
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
