Staff

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
5 {4 { M9 R/ o/ L! K! N7 v. L• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
: f2 p! h& O8 c3 s- University degree in a related field; 0 h3 W) B2 ?5 G9 d
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;" y, _1 `4 [% B& \& W1 x7 c
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; c; e5 _3 P9 I! {2 m
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

2 n; o2 H3 J$ Z* v" C' N: k- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
