JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 `7 i% d) [' K1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

# c3 e( ^* u( o7 q1 [; i2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
& o+ e' H4 H" c$ \; k7 h; a
- d% y/ z6 B7 B+ P: N3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
% T. p" a3 l  H6 e5 B: [. K; \8 i8 J
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.
) r$ V8 H' W8 m, _% F8 L% o
5) Serve as cashier when required.

- j- b( |+ q8 F& D6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

8 w" ^" A, r! Y& i; F0 F
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
, S  h" v, ^' _1 I
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

2 F8 k( a- N# _5 W5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
