JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

' |$ ~  c$ ~# R) S/ k DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

3 W4 j' u% `) `! b+ H7 c1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
+ l: m* p& j; w2 K  k' G; x. j
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
+ B7 A  c3 v7 Q  B& t% X, P1 W
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

- d1 P+ c2 k5 P- b$ n5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

( i2 N% c8 u1 \" U8 ^2 mQUALIFICATIONS:

- s. s5 {" X; f8 ~. }; Z! I1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

# w8 o: M1 o( ~8 c8 F3 k% c2) Cashier experience.
$ z: q2 }" K6 f4 x) L% j
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5 B* }+ h! b9 a& ]8 y5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
