! R4 w3 G& S* CJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- @9 r( Q" ^$ Z2 o$ b/ _1 q8 |3 n1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

  s+ Y! g  P. n, j0 m+ l( I4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

: j9 y( Y& V3 V( K5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

* s  m# b0 X# ^5 W, ?2) Cashier experience.
3 O0 |; P( m/ ]4 ~# f& W: X* i6 G
' I8 d0 W/ j+ f. K0 j3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
