JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

7 c' ?5 ?( [  Z1 I* \9 @' x+ a1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

. r1 A) w- V: v7 {# `) w" ~2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

7 ^4 m" ~0 R7 Y9 x& V3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

/ h9 d" @+ u# r6 I4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

* v. o( M4 V- @0 t: t/ j$ S5) Serve as cashier when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

" i$ w% P* c" W3 w# k' F1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
  d7 B; O7 S+ R
. K( {/ S1 _0 k- V- D, w# A1 w2) Cashier experience.

3 q9 y* M' |3 g3 N' p+ r% d2 G3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

$ j+ A( I0 C3 ]. x1 E) H/ J0 ~7 x4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
