a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
b) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
c) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
; y) q8 A+ x" i) l& pd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
. }' W. e# Y* e( }! X' G! P0 Uenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
4 E4 J9 ?9 ^! K5 Fand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
, l% C! q8 h; pPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

( f1 ^7 z+ ]7 V" w8 N- N" bThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
( r5 B; c' N" V+ G5 k+ _(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
; E1 C) B% B0 X5 I( S; W(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
6 U/ {4 I+ z/ f6 n5 ~! a  b8 y(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
' |7 M) D( c2 I% G. l- ^& C' C(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
