increases the tuition fee by few percent every year and international

and most of the newly admitted students who applied for housing were

6 l5 [5 ^; r: \8 E* h* dWhile the average cost of living for a typical graduate student has
% [6 x; S4 ^, d wincreased by something more than 70% percent we are getting paid 4 h6 r) B- n _/ `; @3 R2 W' g
exactly for the same amount of money that we were offered in our
2 ~* j* B3 x4 }+ badmission letter (18000 CAD + 1500 CAD for international students
+ [$ r$ |( A: f. D9 F$ l: W: m=19500CAD. What I get is something around 1000CAD/month!!! after 6 p% A a0 \8 R! Y% {
tuition fee and taxes). To make the argument easy to understand just

getting now and I was getting 3 years ago but he or she (like all of
0 S6 `' K, F9 Z1 `& Sus) has to pay twice as much as I was paying for housing when I was 6 Y* W1 f" d5 g1 R. i
admitted and has to incur at least 70% more in average living costs.

from different governmental and non governmental sources and graduate
; e2 ~% w& k& O! z$ x1 I) Kstudents are the main pillars of research work at the university.* @. Z2 k, g' ]9 B3 w% \

My objective in bringing all abovementioned points in your attention
9 H! B( u7 ^! S6 k0 Gis to question the adequacy of financial aid for graduate and " e, ?, m; j2 @9 _) n8 X, \
especially international students. Isn抰 it time for the GSA to take
9 Z$ a2 p M) ^7 d- C2 U+ G
! l' l7 \0 ^4 V/ m1 ^* ^! P7 b8 Z- |initiative in raising the issue of increasing financial aid for $ s5 \6 U5 t4 L/ N8 Y: D5 }* @
graduate students so that the can afford this increase in costs?- |0 |! x4 v( W3 V( D+ r/ k
