If you want to go to UA, you probably need everything prepared as much as you have to in China.

/ Q  l$ u. s; Q  `the advantage is that you can go to see the professors and coordinators of the department, give them a live and personal  impression so that you will be considered in preference of those oversea students.

, V3 g8 c8 A" dand also, you can submit your applications much later than those overseas students, who may suffer from visa applications.

5 }9 S" G0 p& }4 agenerally speaking, there isn't too much difference in  the process of applications. you will have to go through all the steps required by the University.
