An Alberta woman has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a small town in Saskatchewan.

- ~2 B. m6 b- D# P7 cAccording to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

The RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.

Kyle, a town of about 500 people, is close to the Alberta border, about 320 kilometres west of Regina.
