JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 9 B& y4 _( X* [3 t) x0 C
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 8 G2 V- [: q/ G
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 6 f! O6 {5 e5 a4 K1 ~. c3 B! r
of Course Pack production.- W0 n, D; U0 N% p \; f

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:, T% K% X4 @/ Q ~6 ~: P
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
* x; F3 O$ q3 T. y& Wof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
/ c/ l! @ a$ I$ l. y
: e Z- \; u- L8 S3 x) I2 Y# n- o2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
6 E' {' l! x R! i9 Y) z( ]print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.4 m5 ` R/ q8 g3 a% x* \8 ]& X
, G8 m/ i0 ]$ t" H. o) Z+ M. M* ?& i
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
) m6 a, |3 `( r! T' p3 y; Qcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and 7 r" z# }# L# g4 x
keeping appropriate and accurate records.) _ S, w* y! e! |
. y6 d, }# n7 E! W! {" N% _4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

9 F8 y# i* I6 R/ V- k3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
