JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
0 W; G3 |4 D' c4 V% S8 K0 m$ V* e% c; @SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 8 ]+ p1 `2 i2 n! S* M* Y9 D# W% c( m
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects % T4 E& @( A! T1 T. m" Y
of Course Pack production.

1 Y& A# Z8 `0 T G5 j j/ rDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 a2 p8 j6 W( e+ v1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
( h4 |( B6 H0 lof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.' N- \; }( H% K$ B
; }9 Z) h; V' H5 h3 l
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 0 n1 N7 r+ T" d, i9 `
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.# t R4 {- N1 }" ^2 T' M$ p
: \0 n: Y3 I; }& U+ ~! L+ ~4 n9 ?4 k) `" h
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of , A. o$ O' z5 J# `' e& Q8 W
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and ! F( X6 E$ \4 r% W$ ?3 e
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment : }: ^: ^ Y( b0 `. {! m
failures to the Operations Manager.

and adhere to regulations as appropriate.$ O% [$ `" z* b( J4 G

QUALIFICATIONS:
* L9 X5 _' F* \. ^+ y& j1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.; B! k$ B# Z" n/ E" J( y4 N- l
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication + @0 P# a# d) q0 d" [$ Q7 Z4 m
skills.8 n/ \& T" D& A5 L6 \
+ d( x; X8 h0 `3 y3 z3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
