Our client, an industrial asset-management company that provides best-in-class, sustaining and maintenance services across the Canadian gas and oil sector is looking to add several Red-Seal (Interprovincial) or Alberta-licensed Instrumentation Technicians to their Team. ' P: Y% P, p3 S" a9 h D8 S
9 u: I, G! V5 a( \8 aResponsibilities of the Role:3 e7 s2 e3 K9 o ~7 g a8 ~1 R+ p5 ]
: d- f/ L# g* g& n& W) e$ ?- Install and maintain instruments on new or existing plant equipment and processes
y3 i1 K; i" w9 i3 W7 y" g- Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications, [6 }% R [. @$ R; X* y. _
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and control equipment
: O# _/ m* {" {- h- E5 m- Consult manufacturers’ manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures / Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devises to inspect and test instrument and system operation, and diagnose faults8 a% K* `' e' F- i; d1 K) W
- Implement loss management practices5 y% L1 `2 k) ^9 [( f
- Consult with and advise process operators

- Interpret and use appropriate CSA, ISA and API installation standards and practices
