其实cheesy这个词也有别的意思,和肉麻涵盖的范围并不是完全一致的,只是我“研究”至今的最近词汇。油油有啥高见?

cliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意.  for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!1 k' b0 X( z1 n+ a  O" H& _

9 H+ q3 n1 f: u; R3 Y& k: W6 ^
cheesy often means "cheap, flimsy and of low quality". However, when it is used to describe food, it usually means "of a lot of cheese"; when describing an emotional/sentimental scenario, it could mean "fake", "of low class",  caused by affectation, which may very much make one to feel "rou ma" , "goose bumps" is just one of its infamous side effects.
