我们做家长的,当然希望孩子冲着高概率去了。Damn right you can only HOPE. At late teens they'll make their own decisions. Your time of running their lives is over.

4 Z5 `: x% F4 z0 H- Academic performance is not the only indicator for success.
" ?0 |2 G4 j9 D5 d0 ~- n, s- 名牌大学 is only helpful if they've got what it takes to survive - talent and dedication wise. Otherwise they will just crash and burn and leave with a lowered self-esteem.
& H- o) n# I' D* r" f1 J( W- Parents don't have the right to decide or to mislead their children on whether they want a high profile/stressful life, or a mediocre/peaceful life. If the parents want to show off or to compare, use house, cars, jobs, penis size, anything. Just not your children.
