This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

6 F3 W* _+ q; u+ [. f$ k1 C7 n2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)
& }5 V% j2 e$ ?- ^% B+ k) {! z
4 h4 s) P' {& X2 |$ t' g3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides
: \9 s! w& b0 u
4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
! ]8 q" \+ _& t" JMain entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
$ Q; [+ }1 q" Z( c5 M: ^! z/ uNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge
1 {' h( Y: A- O. V+ L& S' NSame as 4.
) p7 R  \( {- S9 t; Y+ b. z0 X+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
+ No condo in view
