JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- ! ~* t% [+ U/ ?3 f7 i
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical % \# l" O- q# J/ D
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects : ?1 I" x: Q) ^3 z
of Course Pack production." P' a. v C7 J. Y3 Y
* T- F( e( V. H! o4 hDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; x( b+ g. `1 l4 _" K. |' V" I1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning " b$ b* @2 D! U1 f! s& V; U1 B
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
7 w# Y0 P9 ?9 y$ M" v
3 l7 x4 ^4 {2 {' o+ b2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including " O+ ]+ t- t) Q- Z# X
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ' `# A8 F4 a+ X# p; s& S
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and # X; q! `2 ^1 u; [9 v( `
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 4 R9 h" Z) g- b( I
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 4 z) x% M H! H* m! J2 w& R; w
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

2 Y+ m3 S2 ~: b0 A G {" f. L- ]6 O6 z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.4 W: b0 S9 D$ j: g; G
