Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the0 T# A( a$ l/ W8 e' ~& H/ w

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and2 j+ X& A S& W! S d+ c
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft# B0 |( k$ G+ N( S. b
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.& P" ]* o( U2 q
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the% w' ?7 g. V `- G
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.0 `% S; B- R; t; U% F) t
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for1 e6 u/ D- Q, V7 M5 E! z
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the0 h7 G' N- s0 }* |
recyclables." R) _9 m" @7 b, T( W7 c
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be; O: x9 Q& ~. t8 B$ U2 L* q" k* R
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening./ ~. m2 s, h0 C3 X0 y4 L, l
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing, w& z3 V9 i9 _% s' W/ N. Y
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
+ }; V$ T: B- f* [4 B! U. {hours are part of this crew’s duties.
+ E, U' x6 v' c9 } _Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
) r$ |/ v6 l; X8 I0 c' H% s& k G" Rfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide. Y0 p3 m: g+ i. z4 Y. U
programs to visitors to the festival.
0 v9 j/ b! E! }. r- P: {- D, XKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for

Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
5 \$ A2 \- I6 i! Kevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is& D5 z/ y1 k2 b
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you4 E) W( G& ~; b, D& P
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.8 z. E* a( n$ T* a
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training; L0 g; m, O# G9 I+ X
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.0 _1 d7 H4 R2 y5 L) D' C0 O
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
3 L# s( y- F9 |* trequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
, t7 }' {4 P2 K" ]& W5 Jairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival, t! m% n3 g. @; `( U
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
