Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
' G! o- k0 n- i& e" ework the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
7 W' c/ ?, g. J- y6 I) m2 h0 mprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
7 [, E8 x* M( K- e4 @Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the$ J( Y/ F) `% ^* i/ \) _; L3 k
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.: s+ w# t* @7 x9 c. a0 n6 A) ]' Z
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
& x3 y9 T+ p- v8 }, |1 m2 D6 evisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the# f* ~. E8 p. H9 Z* E$ F) g# S
recyclables.

Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
/ ?" q M3 Q5 h7 d$ A: O, S. Ythem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
) o) p& ^; D9 n/ D& k. S; yhours are part of this crew’s duties.4 n( X7 Y1 w( Y- f

. | u6 a: t# F( b% E6 [6 b# Sfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide% D4 j! O6 q$ H2 V5 {
programs to visitors to the festival.
& @9 f( J/ `3 V* [+ w* p+ O/ gKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for* u5 l5 T: i+ d
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.5 F2 s6 {7 p! `% D4 q! p
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
/ F6 l3 Q$ Q, \" c Q' t. M4 X) ^; P5 W hevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
; z+ {7 o& u* K9 D6 h L# { _festival.
) U/ p$ e) z3 L+ [2 T% O- g' dSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is- O) ]$ b4 \6 P
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you' L/ K6 s& } `$ N
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.4 ~! q. V# _" m G4 @4 l3 y/ O1 B2 m
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training7 ~: u5 b: i% Q& D* [+ k
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
2 o2 Z! B% ~% }( K, l J, GTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be, K! Q3 ~ g* Z5 t5 n' ?: m
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as5 T' a, f b% d) g" ]
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival+ H7 `3 Z/ G% M j ~
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
