Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
. Z2 n# S( W1 Q* dwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
9 J1 t8 P" H7 J7 B- r# Fprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
2 S* v1 a5 l, u3 L' A1 ~5 J" \0 B" HChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
' @- F- V! N0 P* l* B7 ?+ A5 kartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
6 T9 x& Z+ v* g" f4 h2 b. ~. [Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
% i$ m6 c% t( r2 ~# T. Q9 Tvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the% _) u$ L- ]& ^+ l& r& t, R
recyclables.
! w5 w; M/ t0 ~Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be- J- a) p- M1 X. v- u. M9 I
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.) ]( ]5 {! z; `% {' @
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing5 [1 O( z8 u8 ?9 I4 A
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
4 @1 D2 q6 L8 j x$ k8 p7 A, Ohours are part of this crew’s duties.
' J1 f- q# ^3 uInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the( p3 p4 ?# d) D( o6 p
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide% G) a- `& c7 Y; H$ m6 r# s
programs to visitors to the festival.: g1 @, M; t) Z+ i2 q
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
i% w3 Y1 Y+ Xeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience., {. k! V9 L5 S3 l+ Y
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
4 ?1 ?& d% k7 }events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
! D! h* Z, O7 v+ V: f5 A$ w5 J2 Lfestival.7 k/ C9 r. M6 N
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is3 L4 Z6 A6 z, c% }! o, ?5 \# o% n1 ?
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you( f4 p+ x2 r8 p7 d% e
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.

' C) Y! l# v; f( band/or understanding of back stage procedures.
$ X) ?* V- H6 `! z1 E' L0 uTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
0 a( i% Y2 ^, k- @required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
H4 c& W! n& v2 B: d$ j6 a2 oairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
; f! H. E) ~8 J$ N% Kstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
