Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

' U" @/ l7 m3 \; k2 Oinstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
* y: y4 {" t# D7 P9 vCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
- P& u6 s6 d* _0 k* [% D7 BAchievements
6 @+ b, H) j; H% G$ x/ d) O$ O6 yin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
crowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
