The University of Alberta Students´ Union has been contracted by the

targeting the issue of violence on Whyte Avenue. As a Brand % O9 `% p+ r6 ]7 m* D$ Z. V* L
Ambassador, you will be part of a 5-person promotions team that will
( I: Q: l( M( n% f/ |communicate our campaign messaging and distribute branded giveaways
+ o1 p. G( O W8 N4 Ito patrons in and around nightclubs on Whyte Avenue*. For this part-
3 O) z; N( Z" }. Atime, temporary position we are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, & q1 Q) H1 z2 M# c# e8 ~4 w- G
friendly, and sociable individuals who are comfortable in an

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

$ X+ @; C5 }9 E% c: T5 L y3 U1) Distribute promotional materials for the "Be a Lover, 1 `) l( S; e6 y
not a Fighter" campaign in and around bars and nightclubs on Whyte 5 J, v. S. Z6 g9 k; k' S
Avenue.

1 m4 ]% q9 d! m4 O2) Approach patrons in and around bars and nightclubs on

) e m' I) S- Q" f3) Communicate campaign messaging to patrons regarding * Y% r- `5 d1 [5 `) j

mediums for the campaign.

5) Conduct short onsite interviews with patrons when % v3 A+ q" o' k: P/ x6 L
required in regards to the campaign and/or the issue of nightlife

1) Experience with onsite event-based marketing teams.

Successful candidates can select from shifts available at the

9:00pm - 1:00am (4 hour shift)

Training Session: Successful candidates will be required to attend a
d2 b1 G( [7 P& pone-hour training session (at the rate of $15/hour) scheduled at a Y/ u6 u' Z x2 }. ^0 i
time (probably June 27th 2007) during the week before their first shift.8 Q" G/ A* C" n# Q- P
1 k) l5 r+ j4 q- E- FApplication Deadline: The initial application deadline is 4pm, Monday
