JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
  ~" W7 b+ ^" e; x. c" b" uOperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
& ]* o8 K+ D, q9 T; B0 L9 @  S4 ]9 [' Hfulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

1 Q- s& {% |2 a; N. K: dDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail in the training of part time staff
9 \9 h! Q8 x& J/ X- c# {5 ^5 I
2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements

3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured
! E7 \) E) k  v, N- t! D7 ?% m& o
! T* Z) J8 r7 j8 g# }: m4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours

5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
% Q  q6 v5 ]& g, l' v' R4 ]orders for external custom order clients

6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7)             Provide a high level of customer service

8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
+ U: @+ ^2 O1 b  E1 c: c( _date with regards to consignment data

8 W' m1 T8 l% X! x4 L" V* \6 s9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
) p4 F* {5 n6 p7 ^/ X5 `0 MOperations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

2)             Post secondary education would be an asset

+ `6 \* H8 H& A; X1 q7 v2 d6 ^7 Z; x3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

4)             Strong organizational skills

% }/ P1 C) d/ m+ L  g5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
+ B! o( K) Y7 C& A4 {; F! wdetail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
variety of areas

1 f; c$ {1 E: K& @8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
+ ?9 K8 _7 N/ B" Q4 e9 F+ ythe general public
