Food Service Worker II - Food Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
( o' F, C; |. Y. _- J+ gOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
5 T( ]  j+ ?: t! _& M% Lassist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.
: p/ [2 S; G6 J# |; N7 R
& C  }+ x4 c+ a, ^' W9 P/ T9 w# r6 yDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
area.

2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
) ~- h2 L6 t- v4 F$ ~$ xclients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
$ c; P% _& w' r$ o
5 Q$ F9 J. R' O3 ^, K4 w) k3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
0 J1 @7 O$ X7 Q9 Fper Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
& P" T- J9 [2 \work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
3 l. R2 C8 ]+ X9 K$ D* loperating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

% X1 ^7 S8 d; l' b- S7 _9 @6 }) nQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
0 X1 p% ]# b6 w3 W! Kfood handling and storage techniques.
! V) v; A$ o8 Z4 n
2)              Some cooking/baking experience.
) t# `! H, U4 B3 H
) J# L  ~7 r5 [" {; l, L& i3) Cashier experience.
3 N: s" h- X. Z. f. j2 C
( K+ d/ Q, @! W5 N4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
