2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students'

Standing Orders by April 15 and serve from May 1 to April 30 of the

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000

+ E( E0 u1 r0 h2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.$ ^' l; }$ b# Z# m X1 P c

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.' y# t8 {, H( A
* M1 Q- u5 a9 X8 q% R4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing
: r! e9 x O% Q6 badequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations 3 i4 t& _$ O# H5 w1 |& X. K3 s6 }
across campus, and advertising the poll locations.* x- s) J) c: }6 P

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/

minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday,

the course of an election/referendum.

of campaigning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

6 _, d0 D. H3 {$ `: P1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course 9 k& |. V9 n6 @/ N* Y( D% s7 s) d
for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' . N7 p8 u2 {3 N* n" o' o
Union member.( F. U a$ R: }9 W; t) K9 Z( P7 l

2) Must have some experience in student elections.

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or - _0 Y2 I& Z# E" P; G
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position / C, V0 _- `/ r+ M
with the Students' Union.

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.2 g' W* M0 A' ^+ c! i- F6 g$ I( L
