; h# [" h+ m: H  @' lJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 F2 ]0 c7 ?. V* o, ipolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* m3 q8 Z8 _" ]% u: b. t1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. [2 \5 B$ e7 i6 ~0 Fand are University affiliated.

! f$ v, u; c. g. p( c5 Q4 z2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

% A' K: u% Z, `- F, |+ S! \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

; T% E4 A/ H7 n" A  b6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
7 S. c. Z% Z+ ?9 ?2 V4 ]7 NManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

. j6 N1 F4 N9 \' W6 e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
