DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
: ]) _( y2 o) a6 r4 l(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

8 K# R3 o: T3 R8 ]DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
& ]+ r# V# u4 @
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* r, P! M" Z" j/ Y& Hof garbage.

* N  H* Y% A/ W1 B9 u& l4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
# `# r- l. E! aarea when required.
! \% D8 q' T4 _2 X8 I( a, }' M6 d
6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
+ S' B5 c% Q6 R3 l  B4 i+ a1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
0 {$ o  K3 i- lof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# L: y' ~5 K$ r9 E. T! ~calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
+ O+ X6 w1 a8 c' Z
' y- B9 s: ^5 k" w$ s8 g3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
! R8 k& l2 l% |2 {" w, q& Z$ u2 t& C, i
Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
