DOORPERSON (RATT)

7 A  b$ [4 N7 o* C7 f8 X: JJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ X3 G9 M; Z2 @(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
  j" m3 G9 W) G3 B! t7 M- I  band are University affiliated.

% h8 S+ v, j6 j$ G9 U, r7 n2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

* W2 w* [3 B+ q) |& t3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

/ u5 O8 N/ o" p1 \4 Z8 q! P5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

  n/ }6 A) H9 v' G1 h& U2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
8 P" u! n/ y$ z4 `, T& ~; M' R' xof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

7 w- Q$ z9 K8 _  Y4 P) X3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

0 k# D2 s$ Y/ |2 S& T4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
