DOORPERSON (RATT)

) f$ _* k* V5 I6 C& PJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
& o: O" M- R# c: t. o6 z' B(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

0 J+ C( [( {" ]) ^3 [# l- A/ wDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
6 Y$ f8 R  a3 D+ S7 W( u* T8 Vand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

2 B0 C1 E, D2 e/ Y" V4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
, o* v8 p2 Q) S5 g# Iconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  f+ O* o* Z: Q5 f5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

7 }: Y* ~: A$ M) ~) J, V5 S- F6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
* H0 Q& U( ^! i1 d  q9 G1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
) g' V6 W8 l$ l/ b
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
1 f- c$ `3 L* ~- e& H: `2 [of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

: o% J/ L3 Z5 }! k) O0 M: u5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
