DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
8 y" R4 w8 y5 S- D/ P7 l(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

) @' A3 x% t  r, l) d% |! \# X7 xDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

/ ~6 Q6 m8 ^4 X0 A7 F8 e2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
7 g) l* c/ R/ ?9 ]/ B* j* cof garbage.

+ A' v6 Z: A/ o+ Y4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
- Y3 ?. C- t. f. d) Z+ x' oconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
) a9 k* ^7 u0 I& C- i% f* e
" Z* {" ]2 k0 F7 Q+ k- t0 w5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
& x4 ]$ h7 A3 s& B1 carea when required.

+ K! A: ~  h$ n6 x6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
, c1 c3 _: C/ f* f' |0 |1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

- V. _' I0 h! C0 x! g2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
" Z: \, N/ e" \2 h1 J& F* |! ~& `of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

' A; ]' f3 A- T( K8 ?' s5 G4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
