1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
* C$ u4 M' p6 `5 J3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

% Y+ ?) k0 ~7 a. z! KPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

8 o# X1 c1 P- S+ F% _1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
, b. [: L' K8 S& W2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
, z" w5 D6 q7 g3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
; W( A/ Y9 a! H7 \9 m: z: b% ?5 U4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
9 y7 |- ~0 R  q0 I, K5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7.        Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
8 X: L: w; V# M0 _8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
