JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the & h+ T6 I9 S, K! ]' [5 Q' v
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the ; g. [! _3 Q5 j. \4 }5 w# X
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 5 }0 l- l4 `+ D
cleanliness and order in the bar./ a- N% m1 o0 z

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:$ O( l9 m) y6 T2 c6 ~
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the ! {- f3 R" n: X, ?* v, @9 S
bar and debit floats.

& g5 h& u' a3 U: ^' t4 S" ^. D3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of T( j/ q0 r3 e/ D
each shift, and upon closing.' i9 Z8 J, _( D: \5 x, l0 j; ?

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 6 D! {9 G: {: d: Y$ Q7 N0 @1 v
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
3 d7 l$ T3 b4 }# y X, H( D& W0 _seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
% q$ e/ ?. t$ o+ tstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 7 u9 p3 V; E4 f. p; L
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a - d5 P9 Y# L' I0 _& w) P

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent., `8 ]3 x* J# ]% ~
9 O0 \' _- _, o1 h$ V: M2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume & S) G( U& i1 r4 ?9 \! h% L
operation.6 a' w2 V& T4 d% f+ [% o

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
6 |5 f% w& A ^accordance with Students' Union policy.
