Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at0 d* ^: g+ `# }0 a
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
: J a7 ^" S: f, S9 B: gvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,, P6 R H# l' ^, ]9 \+ `! S
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
- ]0 T* I( S+ B# b5 c, a, iparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and$ p* C# k; q3 ~/ k& I
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
6 _- N5 `, R3 x4 ztheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
! b( o6 K e% c+ H1 E: z: y$ _assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking. t/ z& D' U8 {9 f, X
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
7 B& \, m* a: J5 t. B& joutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city* H! y* g! [- o4 F
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night! S4 F/ |( M. q" _" |9 t
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
4 g6 { f4 S6 }6 m5 D6 @9 c2 z, ?functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in$ g! J3 Z$ W# ~% e3 n
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
& h1 n$ I3 Z$ e0 [, bfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 m) u, q6 u$ J: Q3 y9 q0 `demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake V6 R9 j8 j; H5 F
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those4 q( P4 ^* D/ Y: i4 z2 n+ O9 y: M
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
. S) i! a" b# W3 X& {7 Q* Eskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,8 K \$ n( r% Y, U) ^& c
