Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

: U& ?5 Z' g4 H1 VDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
; Z) K" j& w9 j( l, ?' ^technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
, L3 b+ {) [& K; X. v8 n: ~$ kChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
