1 P8 U7 m2 ~0 M$ t: V* e( g: u9 U( HDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
$ q4 |$ b# @6 n2 X/ ninclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
  t. j+ ?3 _4 O6 B. M! ~compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
* [3 Z! m' F* v8 h  ~separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
2 J& d9 n5 L8 X+ xof a team essential.
$ `3 K6 u4 R" qThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
