Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

- G, l7 R: n  n' S6 U9 P, a- MDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
% i% `, N, V: v' L  Xinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
, h% m0 @) C7 icompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
6 {# |) S' `! H& _analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
" s3 c: v" q2 ~. {8 u. X& r* O7 Xseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
  `3 z& U9 {( g' Z' e! {$ X6 s! zThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
