. D9 i! n: ], U0 T& V+ b/ EThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

" K k0 F: p, Q- z( N$ \Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
& m+ V2 b, U9 s# p8 v4 r1 ~Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
3 e: H& X% w, N$ E0 U! yLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
( ?1 }8 y7 n5 e4 W+ }) | j2 B6 JMust be able to work safely at all times8 f: K/ M) u% T" k: [" ^$ t# i6 J' N
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
9 k+ _ N2 n" G: V6 oPerforms routine housekeeping.
' m3 I8 W: F/ J$ RObserves and reports any safety issues: V- S9 G A: F

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly
7 |7 S1 ~- H1 r/ x" R7 XMetal recycling industry experience is an asset8 q s4 V1 ?. ~3 u6 r' t
Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
# ~. A! L! j7 a i5 iKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
F+ A$ t+ y) ]High school diploma (Or GED)
! o( a$ E9 v; \Well-articulated and assertive
8 m3 f7 ^: t( n ZAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
. P1 b2 b' ^. a) rAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
