Job Summary:
/ O8 _2 [; P% S, L  X  X) ?The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

: d) E9 ^, P$ l* @4 BMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
! @7 M# w, x1 _" z# k' fInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
  [  v- a7 Z" H2 VLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
Must be able to work safely at all times
' G' ?# Q4 Q* e. q& UBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
Performs routine housekeeping.
Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

, k5 U7 f: Y! m. @6 L哈哈，不用感觉，就是干垃圾场金属分类这种活。我以前暑假工在垃圾场干过一个月左右的分类工作，没到开学就跑了。环境脏乱差，工作又苦又累，说真的，还不如去超市或者快餐店打工

9 N" }5 ^* Y9 q7 K我理解的垃圾场分类是一个传输带上放生活垃圾，然后在传送带上人力把可以回收的东西捡出来分类。跟我们这个金属回收性质不一样。我们只是做有色金属回收，不存在垃圾。客人拿着铜啊 铝啊 不锈钢之类的按每磅多少钱卖给我们。
2 t) l0 K3 o* Z% |/ m今年开始我们的回收也针对公众哦。另外，家里坏了的/不要的冰箱微波炉也可以拿来卖的,统称white goods, 这个是按吨给钱的。

, I, l; d2 T! Z& e" L金属回收属于Waste Management一个内容，但是手动挑金属垃圾更像是residential，跟我们性质不同。我们更多是针对industrial和commercial。有色金属按磅给钱，各自价格不同，所以客人来卖可回收的不锈钢，铜，铝，镍等都是分好了拿过来卖的。

$ H6 m6 s! d. ^7 q" _) `' E* J( ~唉，您留学打工真是辛苦了。我留学也一样，第一年夏天干快餐，第二年夏天给叫兽打工，第三年就找到专业对口实习毕业工作到现在了。
