Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Job Responsibilities:
/ \/ z0 o8 Z. o9 u( q
' G. s6 d7 c! n' Z& xMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials6 s4 {/ e. p/ D6 V1 T8 p
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ t$ [4 ^& p' N$ ~
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material8 \3 W0 h7 [5 J- T5 A
Must be able to work safely at all times; S! t9 {' L0 a
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
4 ~! r# ~" H8 O* G# ?: {8 D) Q1 IPerforms routine housekeeping.
4 Z6 o/ G4 B, N* E& AObserves and reports any safety issues7 |( [' T9 ^' |5 _! p5 O
Other duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting$ `& K. T) c2 t9 d0 j+ [
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing8 \( s7 L5 a9 C3 K4 S
High school diploma (Or GED)
9 G5 F/ \8 F( s9 @% ?4 r ~Well-articulated and assertive. |% h7 Z7 |* ?! I! E8 v: b' y. P
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization+ p; d0 s; ~# v$ ]4 X$ w2 J
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos3 w3 g/ R3 M$ @4 ^8 F$ B2 H2 O
