* c2 O4 C% g: Z a9 ]3 C ] T; ZYou will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer
1 x. J" D; { A: Qlab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the2 \/ t' K9 N) a! [9 c
centre.+ `2 Q. R0 g5 E
These responsibilities include:
" Z3 X3 G" H! w8 a7 Q8 k$ x-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.4 @4 y2 |( n, T/ b
-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.8 U: l. |5 v- z- B. f0 a0 z
-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and
' e3 u! ^! l" E3 A" arenewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to 8 `9 _: i/ ~* T* x7 ~1 u
facilities’ maintenance, etc. 9 a# f0 @" H/ G+ a: C% P
-Conduct other office related tasks, such as Internet documents search, backup of electronic , @0 e# U/ q: X1 k" L
clients’ files etc.

Education:
! E3 r; ] J' A: ^-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences,
2 N3 { Z* ]5 j8 t+ xeducation, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination 2 ]3 L3 d$ u% w) z& \
of education, training and /or experience.
1 N1 w# T* a; l1 jKnowledge/Technical competencies:
# i; b, f$ L1 F+ g7 Q1 S-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
# o& i; @- `* `) ]5 Y& }/ J-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word
