CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
0 S9 r8 P' K0 j( M: b* _
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

) `: @  q+ j, I/ A· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
+ g6 R3 s- C: p/ G1 a7 E8 E; o
& ]3 d5 k1 b4 [1 J3 R% s. @· Operate manual and automatic shifts
# Q" O5 w0 I3 G( `* o) _
+ U: W" ~7 }1 K! f7 K· Secure loads safely

6 Q2 i/ m) ^6 h3 J3 S$ P· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
" E7 {5 J8 t) f6 P& ]% s$ `% ~
9 w( s1 y. j( ~2 {/ S8 m5 ?% }  P· Minimum 3 years experience
* j2 G; K% ?+ D! k* S
/ g- B2 ]9 ]& H: {8 X6 a· Valid Class 1 license

- n0 P' N( i6 g$ f8 s  {· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
6 f7 C, t  }5 `8 P+ W$ R4 Q+ V( [+ ^
# b7 L0 e( {5 B7 E6 w. Q· Load securement certification

% e/ P: l* K/ \1 o· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

( p& W$ ^# T  B5 [# Y: X· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

1 R+ x1 z+ h8 \$ Z8 H4 x' ?· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

% @  e8 ]3 T9 Q! h9 z$ O· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
