CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

. \# l  G/ A0 b/ B$ k8 a5 h· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
' V. h) |( C  B
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
! }7 ?4 m' o* G+ e" G
' U5 u  W" E* Q· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
0 a& k/ T$ |- b9 n) u2 k" i
· Operate manual and automatic shifts

, W; T7 p1 j( M0 w· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
( W  S* |$ ^9 d2 B7 x* e" eQualifications and Training Requirements

9 O2 Q3 |+ U7 ?· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license
) D6 W% F6 D" m
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
( p+ L& W0 s; M0 B
· Load securement certification

, {# A6 F; m/ t9 c" {- u/ R· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
% Z4 K- R& {, W9 t& K0 R$ G7 ~
· Excellent organizational and time management skills

& N  H$ s0 r7 V· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

$ B3 x$ }. p* z+ H) R· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

; \, L9 ^, F% k& e( G( m· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

$ I% y: b1 S" s2 `( \& N· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
