This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

) y: I! \5 O5 DThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
9 |: I# w, q" d& O- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
: u: c+ c5 C' w2 m; i  {2 w- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
+ B* \' _8 z( w6 S- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
0 g/ i- m) H3 Y6 C3 J- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
