The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& m0 F% J2 K  p8 e9 g5 r-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
0 z- _3 a; B% F& G' u6 r-        Building and managing supplier relationships
: g& U0 v5 Y8 c, O$ n-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
: x' P4 Y4 m( c- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
6 v' e6 y/ V4 ?4 O0 c% ^- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
6 B5 c: Q' L- a+ H" u3 c- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
4 m* j5 V& ^& M5 B4 w5 ~- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
