- Identifying and serving the needs of each business department9 V. ^! M( Y/ m: M
- Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers( X: Q+ q& k }* p$ @1 ~
- Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts7 E) r+ h& H: {/ @- c/ s; @" g
- Building and managing supplier relationships% q0 X' g( e( A7 X
- Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses" i/ X. S2 u# l1 I
g& Z; [1 Y, m! |9 w- }Requirements: ' z r2 v* g( q8 o5 u0 ~
- Sound research skills$ `: K* M& p9 m4 r9 s: T1 P
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* z) c" w7 {8 {& _4 ~- Strong organization and time management skills 0 }. y1 s9 b* n e) N
- Friendly and outgoing personality 1 j& D# b' d. }8 L0 P
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook / b% G! X1 J0 Y2 h
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred
; o4 h2 G& N3 ~& q* S: \9 w u6 T- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset $ z. E) A I, I a& _! b- R" X
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset 6 B) }0 v }, q! i
