This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

1 o) u7 j! v+ A0 b+ J" E$ hThe procurement officer is responsible for:
! p  U' k3 B/ d+ m/ B-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
5 K+ L: r) v8 J8 G4 ]-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

' G; o6 R0 i3 K3 U) C! z8 VRequirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
) X3 U0 x. D7 b  I, G& k4 M# n- Strong organization and time management skills
0 I0 O" u! ^" @- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
