This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
2 a/ h5 w" T1 v5 ]% o1 a-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
! X2 b& S9 U/ t9 J8 h% y-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
, C: d9 Q  D  R4 V5 ^% j  Y-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

( d9 C2 A4 j& A2 K+ QRequirements:
9 f- t6 q4 @9 @4 y* o2 N- Sound research skills
+ M/ u0 c  [- D4 ?9 ~- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
3 k) b2 u0 t  _' z- Friendly and outgoing personality
9 @9 ^$ F" q5 Y  F7 B8 c- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
2 E, E: j/ v6 A" T7 w/ d) }  I- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
$ O) R# v* h, D# ~9 X: h1 G- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
. m4 Q# o2 r6 d& K- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
