There are almost two million Clarica policy- and accountholders in Canada, said Sun Life. Clarica also has a sales force of about 3,500.1 B# R0 q( r7 m6 w
' D& f6 N N9 R0 {1 E' RThe company said the changes will be completed by the first quarter of 2008. Sun Life will incur a $40-million to $50-million charge in the first quarter of 2007.
+ n6 H# ~7 j& z: d7 f"The Sun Life name is also well known and highly respected in many other markets around the world," said Sun Life chief executive Don Stewart.
