Clarica was introduced in 1999 by Mutual life of Canada, and was acquired by Sun Life three years later.' D5 d0 N4 N$ V7 g2 F4 \
There are almost two million Clarica policy- and accountholders in Canada, said Sun Life. Clarica also has a sales force of about 3,500.

0 x6 ] ]8 K" h* ]7 s. M, YThe company said the changes will be completed by the first quarter of 2008. Sun Life will incur a $40-million to $50-million charge in the first quarter of 2007.
