留學生可否申請GST Credit?

中學留學生, 沒有SIN number, 是否可以申請 GST Credit?
有人說可以, 但我電話查詢Revenue Canada時, 接聽的人又不能明確的指示如何申請. 只說只有在加國工作的人才可申請. 不明???

先申请sin吧。应该可以，只要是低收入都可以。

已嘗試到Service Canada申請SIN, 但他們說現在學生若沒有Working Permit的, 是不能申請SIN的, 他們的Website上也說要申請SIN一定要Student Visa AND Working Permit.

Are you eligible for the credit?

If you are 19 or older, you are eligible for the credit.
If you are going to turn 19 before April 1, 2007, you can
7 \+ r6 K! s9 L; n' J4 f- }; eapply for the credit on your 2005 return. Generally, you
- H; P- w1 p9 lhave to be 19 or older to get payments, but you can be
younger than 19 to apply.
% J1 Y1 }2 \, LIf you are under 19, you are eligible only if:
■ you have (or had) a spouse or common-law partner; or
( H' P0 ^" c) i) f7 Q■ you are (or were) a parent and live (or lived) with
your child.

If you don't have sin number, you can choose to file your GST application without sin number. CRA will give you temporary one. Or you can state your situation with letter.
