As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:7 Q$ {9 J. `# j, k
' V5 ]7 a: Q' G( |# M- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 4 \' b4 ?' `$ A( F# n3 B3 C/ [1 K; x
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. : E& a: @9 [1 k
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 5 |. }5 |1 e% P5 o& u0 @
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. % ~0 z/ y8 n7 y% h+ u
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ) T4 Q! w2 k: _. X }, \. W% ?
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements: O$ \3 L0 x0 [5 @( j% f- x% s

- Previous supervisory experience
: g. w2 T' w' p T8 V- Strong leadership skills , }9 Q( A, X9 f4 y8 i
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 6 \+ d( N8 ] s
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
0 O, l6 g1 g q/ ^3 G2 w1 E- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 7 ?& V9 v% c" H1 o
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.0 ^- {! l* t \0 f# U2 @
