! X3 Q6 k2 _3 s' B- X3 b) }As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
: a/ a& @( O* a, ^3 v
* l o* |8 C$ C) ^* J2 a7 o! i- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 9 r, v/ A9 `7 C; m5 w2 W
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
6 U' w+ k$ }5 Y- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
5 _/ d) C3 O% ~0 i7 y3 D- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
( M5 H1 O7 g5 V6 i' \- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
) V1 s$ Y+ R3 l! S- m- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
7 r( M6 Z2 L P4 Q! a! b5 Q- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements' D0 c$ v% O5 ^* B9 A8 {
$ \3 n! l& n& g5 X- Previous supervisory experience
+ t* g1 s& Y& j; L: B- Strong leadership skills
# ^: ]6 ]" [; t ~* P' T9 i- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
: @9 Q/ {, v2 ^% f' m v. y* t- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
$ ^0 r6 {; }- P9 \- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations # S5 N2 t9 A1 ]0 W2 Z: x) ^2 R
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
