As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
- c4 f7 N. }) I) B1 v* D R) I+ G# d# W0 z8 J
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. s0 V% e8 r, _9 ?
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. * O1 k2 O! I: ]- Q; ?0 Z8 h
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ; G4 y( U4 V5 W5 A
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
: a2 e6 a( S- _1 R& W" v1 s- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
0 h% n* g7 ^1 O4 f6 O4 w4 V- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements

8 L& t# H9 l1 a8 m9 l& \- o8 V- Previous supervisory experience * h0 G- u5 Z" X: a
- Strong leadership skills 5 i. v3 S5 w4 m, M
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
6 @ W& d; ^ Z3 T. m- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
9 n z3 W' ^) r8 N& e3 ^- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 2 i8 F: n$ I W- ~
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
