1984: Triple Five Corporation, developer of West Edmonton Mall, buys property from Woodward's and spends $25 million on renovations.0 m: V8 m9 U7 j: Y% p

2000: New owner Dundee Developments spends $30 million on facelift. Safeway moves to the mall's south end, and Zellers enlarges its store. Renovation separates the anchors in an effort to draw traffic past a new ice rink and food court. Slogan "New Cool" used to attract shoppers.

2003: Sandalwood Management buys mall and starts adding stand-alone stores on "pad locations."
