1955: Westmount Shoppers' Park opens with 40 stores, 3,000 parking spaces at a cost of $5 million. Woodward's anchors Edmonton's first shopping centre.

5 M' T" t2 h% E: }4 P; w2000: New owner Dundee Developments spends $30 million on facelift. Safeway moves to the mall's south end, and Zellers enlarges its store. Renovation separates the anchors in an effort to draw traffic past a new ice rink and food court. Slogan "New Cool" used to attract shoppers.
