The Ministry of Children's Services provides financial assistance to eligible lower-income families using:

Approved family day homes

Approved early childhood development programs
Maximum subsidy rates vary by program type and the age of child attending child care.

You can apply for a subsidy if:

* N( p6 M1 l4 t+ FYou or your spouse/partner, or the child receiving care are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and live in Alberta.
. O' n  Y8 X1 F- d! bYou or your spouse/partner are an Alberta resident.
Your children are 12 years of age or younger and are not yet attending Grade 7.
$ C: x& D* _. ~8 L3 @You and your spouse/partner are currently working, attending school, looking for work or have special needs
OR
You or your spouse/partner stay-at-home and have your child(ren) enrolled in a licensed pre-school or approved early childhood development program.

低收入有一个数目。今天早晨听 cbc ，两个女士都有不错的工作，也可以领。我觉着我们对政府定义的低收入还把握不准。

不过如果年薪十几万以上的，肯定没有必要申请

查了一下： net income of less than $42,255 per year

3 f( U9 ?' ]  \* z1 P! _  W: Ka person earns wages of $1,000, and $300 in deductions are taken from his paycheck. His gross income is $1,000 and his net income is $700.

根据这个定义，应该不少人可以属于低收入。
