In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

! v) Z- F) m6 F$ \Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
) {/ o/ s3 b, F( n3 _6 m# `1 rAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
# B/ }! \7 R! |* k% ]* k8 \% C/ F+ `Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
0 ?0 |9 R: D4 @' t  k2 \3 |" iBe accountable for decision and actions
  ]4 F5 ^7 J' LMitigate risk to the organization.

& Z. {! `: X4 ?7 n5 h
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
& j- h* ]& S) S" [6 ~: }* K• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
% \/ |( _4 P* S" Y9 Q9 g* o6 vExperience:
; r  E- U% L* y$ Z5 s
Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
$ f+ F' z* H1 U8 @) M, bPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
8 n1 S9 w; T- ?Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:

3 @; s1 S2 @5 O( zCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

& D$ z- h/ J. {  j& B7 k0 tCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
* |9 e% c$ C8 \) ?Center objectives.
