LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
! w2 {7 n9 T; W, t8 w" [' J   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
- e: i, `8 S% o- i. ^   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
& R, @# j: S, M   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
# t' I* R6 o4 r6 v3 E9 d  |3 T   o Sun Solaris operating systems
0 h# D( r" @8 Y! t* s) r   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
/ P3 L( s4 M7 L• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
0 [" M3 a9 U3 ^# Z• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
% ^. Y9 ]) S' B3 t& ^0 C• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
" w5 Z, Y9 R5 {• Excellent written and verbal skills
' B. n3 B0 }% C3 J, j• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
/ S$ z, f. ^; r9 p+ ~3 k   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
6 ^4 _+ Y3 c$ [+ o( ?6 ?0 r   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
: x3 ?9 O0 U1 S   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
8 O/ u5 u; A% F   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
  Q% b2 g4 d; T" z( D• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
+ V! \! J3 J% K" T: m• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
