DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
' N( @' M0 e' [/ `0 iSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

; |+ h' a% U& U$ h) [* XRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
0 q/ |4 p! u4 a* p' x1 N4 Z3 H• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
+ U7 C) `* z" \' }. h3 O* W   o Microsoft Operations Manager
  X; |. v$ K" L   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
: }. F! z8 H5 q8 P9 D   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
! ^: ?: H+ J( K8 H2 E7 \- K• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
# C* |- E6 j$ H• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
; x, M) H' K5 D/ J- ^- s& u  M/ Q) j• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
0 E& d& S' ^9 m5 u5 f0 ~   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
* \7 d' I2 N, b* D- D   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
' X) e3 P4 }/ R5 p9 U/ q6 m   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
7 d: a- G+ A, _• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
+ @2 {$ I# q" X8 E' Z% j• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
8 y# R" T$ d- D• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
2 M. T$ I0 d/ P# q• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
% R2 W8 `7 Z1 h9 s! Z) t4 z• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
