LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

' c2 L8 F9 B: X4 o• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
5 m; l5 b9 k; I# _   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
+ P# R  _2 ?2 C0 D) S1 `  L' t   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
3 o, o% L% B) D& t$ r. s   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
9 Q+ c5 s# a4 d1 e/ P5 Q- ^: ?$ j   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
2 \1 G; l- H1 [   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
' d8 g# t+ y8 ^1 j2 M0 ]! e& |• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
! g' _' k* e# D. M; P  ]• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
6 a* _0 [" Y$ J. W( _) X• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
% p3 Y# Q1 ], l" A5 y• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
4 {0 X' ~4 ^: y/ ^• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
3 N0 E8 j2 w& F& N$ B2 e• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
9 ^- e: z7 J( Y8 f* U2 j• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
& }8 |( x& G4 ?* E: z/ M   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
& P( X7 F) ^. B: v% \   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
& g2 Z" u4 _" k   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
$ K0 H: M0 G+ ]. X5 X$ i' ~. {: i* J   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
7 `& C* |! L# P4 H/ M• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
& n: o+ B4 l# t# k• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
