DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:

' X. f/ P6 P8 B7 I3 W' X( y   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
5 D7 E$ x$ f2 ]   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
9 ?, T6 G7 W9 A9 @   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
7 _. @2 W* A# L9 @0 s2 g   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
6 ?6 L5 K: r2 {  c   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
& h& F( C$ i3 X* T2 n/ F" H• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
* @6 z# o" O/ Z. S) _( w• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
) O* U& ]7 C' r4 x; @platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
. S4 S" A2 T& Y: b0 ?" qSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
/ [+ v* w# d. u/ H8 ]0 x• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
1 c  r: v( p* b' v9 B- s; b7 j2 z• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
1 s9 Z. b+ m) R8 R( ]• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
' x" S* t/ C6 ^6 V' P• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
1 q* J$ W. {' V" ]2 ^0 o; S+ t! [• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
* t3 B  l: G& w. ~   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
# v$ }; A2 G% W5 }   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
) W, _! n' i: u# Q$ U   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
# `/ W# g0 x3 c3 H' m. O   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
( T8 n4 j! E6 \# D• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
  M" ]  s' R, w9 G' K• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
) T6 M! {6 D2 E  `- Z• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
( T8 N- ]( M- q, w3 F9 c" F7 j; c• Have 4+ years of network design experience
  @# J8 y4 j8 l$ j; Q8 k• Have led medium to large sized projects
+ |& n+ j7 y" A• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
