DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
9 u: g; ?$ d# i) M4 k   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
4 _- V0 X9 G9 c/ M   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
% g4 u5 m! S% t9 J3 Q- i   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
9 [! F6 C% f/ ~6 Q+ z   o Linux based operating systems
! n' M1 U' a( }' b* l, e6 f5 G3 Y   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
8 h* f. n, c3 |5 E5 g• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
  M% ~8 h: H0 B8 d: ?2 s$ A4 O• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
  D) J/ j$ `! V  K2 t  y- _platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
4 p9 y# m) X. V! Z" O5 MSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
; C& E9 ^; s& A7 L2 C! S" b: L9 J  f- O• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

9 B  u2 P, r6 `) jSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
, l2 G- T( y7 o' E# i& [4 H8 l• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
1 w( q2 t2 y% p3 _( N+ q! C• Ability to work in a team environment
& n7 b! @: H- j3 x0 ?• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
( g3 |' \, M" @: A2 g5 c• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
& \1 r7 J$ u3 Z+ |- ^4 d, d   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
/ v4 W& k5 Q& l9 s- }9 m0 o1 d   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
$ G3 v( {( u% {7 w9 H  q. y   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
8 ~9 B: J# A/ x% s5 {8 _( _• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

- q+ `( N3 h/ e& A3 O• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
% V& j) x9 @8 x' i1 r• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
! P1 R7 H7 I  C& H• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
/ c1 C0 V$ v$ }% {; T• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
