EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:

, ~: H% _) K) s7 j% B4 ]   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
9 J9 `$ ?2 B3 m1 L   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
' w; b8 D# J! {   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
+ Y* _1 M% I  E' B2 v# Z9 {   o Microsoft Operations Manager
3 C/ f  u: {9 }, i) b6 @   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
) e) n1 K! U6 s& h$ `, w& w6 _3 m  O   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
) ]- c, Z; F  S& X4 ]: q• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

# @5 S  i" ~8 ]) H• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
+ z7 ?( N0 s6 v9 Z3 mSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

0 A* M' t& p) f% d" Z8 A. N" O  |4 NSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

( E5 I- |4 D6 u% X# J, x• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

• Certification should include some or all of the following:
+ R9 K0 K7 J$ S+ U% [- {   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
1 V" \7 ~7 n  m4 @   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
0 D/ C! N5 A& x   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

& p! A6 E. Y( n; w• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

( h$ U! D* Y$ k1 I  i/ t* L• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
