Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
+ s9 O6 V, z' ADuties:
1 E/ L  @' j( l6 K- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
0 S! E9 P* a3 d# @- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
3 O* D+ u# e1 W: m+ n! L- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
1 z( ?; s5 E- p$ x- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
3 O1 U) x" t5 JWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
/ X. J+ A, ^; C$ k' {Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
