Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals

- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
! g" S+ A; P! h' |7 Z$ X' [- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
4 v* z) B' Q- q7 R9 P; i% Y- Manage kitchen operations
' R& Q2 ^/ ?8 b  n& H- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
' L4 R5 H0 M( _9 ^6 k1 [- d) I# K4 }- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
; J  L% ?$ _) m' kThis is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
Location: Simonette Camp (51.5 km west of Fox Creek), Alberta
