Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me: / h2 R: [1 Z5 b7 t' ^" C5 H

I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:! h, ~: y! S+ R1 Q$ X; [
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?" 3 u9 D; ]& v j
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage." 2 v% t; L6 l8 `. Z; e( X
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?" * d# l) H+ C1 Q+ x, B' Z: U
"Yes, I did."
9 Q- M' p# Q! M. mFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post. 9 |' H# p, F- X- x% s7 Z
He took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet. ' y0 {, r2 {$ R2 ]3 D
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"+ _6 ?% b( ?2 o' e; @# X! [
"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
8 d) K/ r: U H* S A: HHe took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.

"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"

He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."+ k0 w6 k5 f" t! y( r
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
% Q$ o+ l. x: Y/ z4 aHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.
