Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
* h3 i, D( Q; d+ E% x" K3 kWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
/ C  z6 N8 t4 P+ K7 s. l7 U0 W. d•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
7 b( c- o+ a) y$ E' ]$ `•        Prepare financial statements
•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
9 ^7 E; n6 t" v% n•        File T4/T5 returns
# w% P# @! J+ o9 D: D; h- e: |; C' R•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

  @& T! [7 V) K" C$ iConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

2 S, m6 C- a$ m' d. z3 N不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
