We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following: $ n5 D7 B B0 J5 G$ E
• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
8 _+ M7 O6 C, a* |) Y" r• Prepare CaseWare working paper files, ) \, Z) W4 Z' E& f- C2 C! m
• Prepare financial statements $ H& z+ ^7 Q5 Y. [
• Prepare corporate tax returns 3 E, ^- l3 Y6 n0 S A
• File GST returns
* O: A2 h5 y8 E7 ~3 O" K; ~& {• Process payroll' h: U! ]# t- D! v+ M0 D" Q5 q
• File T4/T5 returns
/ l' P4 ?" K) X: K' E# I% C1 X• Prepare personal tax returns
; a% g0 J# q5 s1 Q$ m5 m• Communication with our clients and government agencies & ]4 f5 Q/ z3 ^. W" {2 p
! V! x5 M V9 y0 k, JThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. 7 ^9 N& p% }+ _" y* j: @3 }4 B2 {
& K f/ N1 a3 N1 L, QConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.
