Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
% r& `! l) k' P" M" u  p6 A, b3 zWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
& M9 a) M4 ]2 w" u•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
1 P  d" b) C8 H) h: u. i•        Prepare financial statements
•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
* v$ V% h1 X8 C•        Process payroll
/ W' I) P- B. a- n' S6 @" W* Q7 L' ~•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

, y6 A- y; ~- AThe position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

4 k6 K9 b; x  s7 O/ P6 ?Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

+ F0 O- B% p4 |: d. o不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
