EDMONTON — Nearly 2,300 violations were issued over a one day traffic blitz across Edmonton last week.( Q1 m9 G5 P2 D

Nineteen hundred of the 2,295 total violations were a result of speeding. The rest of the tickets (373) were doled out for seatbelt infractions, impaired driving, distracted driving, and red light violations.

The numbers were nearly identical to a November enforcement blitz, when there were 2,316 violations.$ g5 ]4 a8 I0 T- O
