We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.) [. r0 u. f# D8 Z+ Z' ^' k9 {: r
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.9 v! z5 \. r8 @) ]/ Q
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
9 u2 x @. O' i; o• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

' e: l" o7 x4 ^* T* e, f' A: [) _% d: A• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role u0 U( c8 x9 Q1 a
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study& t# e! x3 E+ i! |" ^- u) p
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
$ B% @4 [+ W! n* S! G6 l. o• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers4 f. q% g6 l9 s% S
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
