POSITION:        Cost Accountant
/ ^0 n& {* Q4 @! i4 P& y: W3 Z" R         Afternoon Shift -Tuesday – Saturday 12:00pm – 8:30pm

REPORTS TO:                Senior Plant Financial Manager       


Key Responsibilities

7 F) D) C: `1 A* rØ        Manage finished goods and meat inventory in BPCS
$ H/ L( u8 t' B0 O' JØ        Train and liase with Operations, maintaining and improving inventory accuracy.
+ B" U- b7 i% g9 F5 d. ~Ø        Daily communication with Production Scheduler/Formulator
Ø        Analyze variances on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and summarize data in a report format.
Ø        Data collection, entry and validation
Ø        Stock and maintain various office items & equipment
Ø        Other duties as required
       
       
        Preferred Hiring Criteria
5 Q9 @2 M7 l0 l6 K5 t; {  ~- r       
- p( `. R  ^6 \5 \' _Ø        Post secondary education in business, accounting or a related discipline.
Ø        Excellent spreadsheet skills - Microsoft Excel.
Ø        Working knowledge of a mainframe computer system such as BPCS
Ø        The ability to prioritize in a continuously changing environment.
+ w4 P; e: Z- a9 J% jØ        Demonstrated willingness to learn and live our leadership values.

According to my experience, I suggest the new comer who has accountant experience and have sound English to try this job.

This is a small town, but housing is very cheap and have lots of potentials to develop.  More over, the people living here are very very friendly.
