Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63.
1 N# |. e: B7 [7 e4 {. cAlan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.6 Q2 o+ G% g9 Q, _
4 s# n( @. n/ [! T K+ P4 L% HThe crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.0 d( O- A2 w9 G4 z; o
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
