So what has Alberta's NDP done about it? 8 H7 l* ]( z7 I, p7 d$ m
( |* [ x& Q! X# o1 B8 jThey just voted to give a 7.25% pay raise to senior government officials who already make up to $273,000 a year!

0 t6 {# q f3 yBut it gets even worse. A group of MLAs just voted to send themselves on an all-expenses-paid luxury junket to Boston, to go to a conference about “ethics”. That conference just happens to be at one of Boston’s most luxurious hotels, the Fairmont Copley Plaza. It’s a three-day junket — and the cheapest rooms at the hotel start at CAD$700 a night. Add in flights and meals, and you’re looking at a $20,000 junket for NDP MLAs, all on the backs of Alberta taxpayers.3 V9 Y3 D3 P1 d( Y9 h% N* h8 i& o5 g
/ T+ l8 R4 S9 o% O' FThe icing on the cake is that this conference has nothing to with Alberta. Most of the subjects being covered apply to the U.S. only — U.S. election laws, U.S. fundraising laws, U.S. Super-PACs, etc. It’s useless to MLAs from Alberta. But hey — all the more time for sight-seeing and shopping!: L5 U6 b+ m1 E! V

Albertans thought that by throwing out Jim Prentice and his corrupt PCs, they’d be done with pigs at the trough. No chance. Welcome to the NDPigs.8 L: K8 i1 ~" N0 i2 h

There are three things we need to do right now.4 P% |; }; ]/ K1 `
1 H# X5 e; f; o; }4 k1. Share this news with all of your friends. Forward this e-mail. Share the video on Facebook. We’ve got to let people know that Rachel Notley's NDP are partying in Boston, while Albertans apply for EI.
^( r4 U) f5 f) P+ Y8 _3 z( |/ R
; w: S4 k3 o, a5 W5 q. t( }2. Sign our petition, demanding that Notley cancel these raises, and cancel the Boston junket. I know Notley really doesn’t care what Alberta taxpayers think. But if ten or twenty or fifty thousand people tell her she’s wrong, she might just blink — and be less likely to do it again. You can sign our petition here, or by going to www.NDPigs.ca.$ P" W3 V) H7 H7 C. \. P
8 N) N5 R( z2 M% D2 a
3. Finally, I want to prove that what Notley is doing is completely unsupported by Albertans. And to prove it, I need to commission a professional, independent opinion poll of Albertans, to show that it’s not just her partisan opponents who are shocked by her conduct. It’s everyone — severely normal Albertans, including plenty of people who voted for her in May, and are now having second thoughts.

That opinion poll will cost about $1,500. Look, if we don’t fund this poll, it’s pretty unlikely the mainstream media in Alberta will. They’ve become cheerleaders for Notley.

I always knew the NDP would be bad for the province economically. But even I am shocked with how they have taken to the trough, as bad as any PC ever did.$ {7 s h5 R" m3 M: F
