EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

2 y' V- W$ F0 q# vThe vehicle burst into flames.

Police and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.6 g% V0 w' ~, @% H" A' k( A0 Z0 [
* q5 H- C7 ~# ?* Z$ d9 ?The fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
