昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:) J8 p. @9 m4 v0 {- `0 `) z

On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor' C4 s* T( |# C$ C5 n: ?* L
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015., q0 ^' ?' `1 R* y* |+ o7 `6 x
) B; B, s N1 W1 X0 D- VThe increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are
c7 Y" Q' D+ V Iproducts from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’1 s# Z/ g, U k, B) C) C
gates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
8 h' }( @3 V: \( u5 Z7 zlitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature( ~& H% r& S2 \8 r" N9 G. Z' x
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that
* ~& u7 b, i, N q8 oare among the lowest in the country.( O' D' d# [' V2 g0 D/ T

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:
; ~+ G/ G$ I2 [) H- y% l7 ^· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.
