" }# g( q0 { Y% @8 @' Z! ?3 vEDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.

The item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.$ o: l8 I' h; u+ J4 S! A: G+ p8 M

Police evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
