Few minutes work if just the safety expansion valve leaks ( most probably only the valve)( [) k& H) z: c* R" _! Y- m$ S% X

Close the main water inlet valve; 1 A+ y( i8 @) q7 Eopen all faucets in the house including showers to drain all water out in the pipe line;' w' B) [! ~2 c+ }; J7 x

8 ^' u/ `9 ~$ gThe humidifier is even simpler. The drain hose is supposed to have water go thorough the humidifier filter inside the housing and then goes to drain when furnace is on. & G% X2 V5 U, }0 H$ h0 [& _7 A2 ~2 d2 y# R& V. R1 V4 g
If there is no crack at the housing connector, just re-do the connection when the furnace is off. ! d- X* h1 W; \# l' K! p# K, c; l9 b! f" p% }
