Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
-community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
& q0 X1 e6 v( \( m! J5 e, j-workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
) f0 b( e2 {  L& b! ?5 c6 @+ v-fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
-develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: b. T/ M0 {* e9 Z* f1 i-coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
-assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.
2 N* W* m4 v+ w5 v: S8 o8 j4 _1 ]-participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
% F! ]0 K& x! `; F2 h% K* z( W-demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
-participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
-write quarterly and final reports for ISP
-assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
-update membership database
-work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
-report to ISP team leader

Qualifications
' i2 l" h0 A" w3 k; M) i" p-degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
-good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-experience in community work and immigrant services

7 S8 i/ a3 h9 h2 r, tStandard Requirements
