I have been looking into Windermere.
3 I' F5 D& t$ P I" hMy personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area.

# x9 b l! ^/ yAs you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St.
+ |0 e& D% ]2 I) E/ m" o# {Just Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.
6 ^9 ?9 c9 B9 fThe City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes.

Some people already mentioned here, AS is very crowded.

What type of housing you are looking for?
$ {$ u. @& r9 f8 U' \$ p8 wThat area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.
) |/ _! ^1 u! ^8 i) w! kDon't understand why people with detached garages like to park on the street.

I am looking at single family home and finally picked The One. |
