This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).9 P* B, J5 F& [* [: l, h( T
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic! N8 J4 z2 d$ p4 M" r3 P/ g
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and) S8 y9 j! Q1 f
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or / p1 L$ e; L; Y- _# s0 j* z, c0 I• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.2 X; F3 K2 L$ ]. P
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
