This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible)., w8 [" b" s/ X& S+ w# O
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic % M s- @- x/ lcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and i3 Z0 K& _: y4 s& E• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or% T R/ p6 c9 I! b
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.* \$ q+ ]7 d0 V- R- W3 O
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
