-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
# i4 s. S" Q4 r3 m-  has taken an English language assessment test?
/ T) O6 T$ S# h" m5 N! Q, I  s-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

% D+ I% V2 ?, e+ Z! d% NIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

$ {  P% n* G$ Z2 h* Q; h9 GMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

8 z! K' W7 z, h- P* m•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
3 b( b* D& d& S& E/ S•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
•        Information about community agencies and services.
) r. f+ G; n) P9 X•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
$ H3 }$ B: ^" E' H/ L& ]5 W•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

3.  August  21, 2006 – Sept. 1, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
